An effective and detailed litigator

JOSEPH D. SHERMAN joined Sneider Kellman, PC in 2016 after gaining experience in family law through his time as an Associate Attorney with a law firm in downtown Boston.  Prior to that, Joseph worked in family law in Suffolk Law School’s Family Advocacy Clinic and in a civil litigation firm in Brookline.  During his time at Suffolk University Law School, Joseph also served as a judicial intern in the Middlesex Probate & Family Court.  Joseph concentrates in all areas of family law and domestic litigation matters, such as: complex divorce, child custody, parenting plans, alimony, child support, asset division, modification and contempt actions, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.

Joseph also volunteers his time handling pro-bono cases through the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association.  Prior to law school, Joseph received his Bachelors of Science in Finance from Yeshiva University in New York.   Joseph is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Federal District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Tax Court.
